  The items I bought were of excellent quality & very reasonably & competitively priced. They were all fresh produce & advertised in the flyer & were the “draw” for me to visit the store. One item (frozen wild salmon) was sold out. This is the 2nd time that it has been unavailable and is so popular that the store could consider stocking larger quantities.

  Aldi has made me a believer. My grocery bill is one third of what I would spend at Giant or Harris Teeter. I was skeptical at first because they stock mostly house brands but everything I have bought has been good quality and some I like better than name brands. The selection is a thin but there there are all the basics and some nice cheeses and ready to eat meal items. The produce is ok but doesn't last long - use it quickly! Don't be put off by the fact that you have to bag your own groceries or leave a quarter deposit for the cart. If that keeps prices low I'm all for it.
