Reviews about Whole Foods Market

My go-to location to find the organic foods, beverages + herbal supplements, chemical free soaps and shampoos that I can't find anywhere else! Now that Whole Foods is owned by Amazon ✓ even better :) If I don't buy them all here when I see them, at least I get to see them on shelves and order stuff at a later time online. Great, healthy selection of hot vegetables for lunch or dinner. Usually quite busy, but unlike other stores, its easier to get through the checkout line as they're well staffed. The staff always seems polite and in a good mood. The produce section is fantastic and the beer selection is superb. There are many places to sit and enjoy the meal you purchased in store as well :)

The guy at the meat counter refused to grind some meat for me. I always will find some meat and ask them to grind it for me. I do this at Harris teeter and other grocery stores without issue but at the one that's supposed to be nice, nope gives me some garbage about how I'm going to lose meat. I know that, I'm fine with paying for the meat lost in the grinder (usually about 1/3-1/2 lb) I don't care just put in a little effort. Ground beef no matter how fresh turns brown after awhile in the middle and I don't want that. It was brown in the middle. Then as if they had communicated somehow that they were going to ensure I never come back they lost me and my fiance as customers forever. They had an oyster special so I figured I'd pick up a quick half dozen as a snack. 20 minutes of standing there waiting after paying for them we decide we aren't willing to wait any longer since we really only came for burgers and buns. They then inform us that they can't give us oysters to go. Why they didn't tell us that before making us wait 20 minutes idk. They couldn't do the refund there so we went to the customer service desk when the woman did a brisk return. The oyster lady did say sorry but seriously all around upsetting. I'll never go back.
